Glow Lifetech was formed as a subisidary of Relay Medical in 2018 and was spun off as its own company in 2021. It was created to explore technology opportunities in the global cannabis and nutraceutical sectors.
The company’s MyCell technology is a plant-based delivery system which was developed in Switzerland and significantly improves the absorption, bioavailability and effectiveness of natural active compounds, including cannabinoids.

2020
The company secured a commercialization agreement with Swiss PharmaCan to acquire the exclusive rights for the manufacturing and sales of the patented and award winning MyCell InsideTM advanced drug delivery technology. The agreement made them joint strategic partners with an aim to bringing the technology and products to the North American market and to maintain an ongoing, collaborative working relationship providing support with ongoing studies and access to a pipeline of future product innovations. The initial terms of the agreement include exclusive licenses for curcumin, iron, Vitamin K and all cannabis related formulations for the United States, Mexico and Canada markets.
2021
The company executed an agreement with Swiss Pharmacan for exclusive sales and distribution rights for ArtemiC in Canada, US, Mexico and all Carribean countries as a food supplement. ArtemiC uses the company’s MyCell delivery system technology and is manufactured by MGC Pharma.
The company began building out and commissioning a licensed cannabis processing space in Toronto in order to produce cannabis ingredients for the Canadian market. This was enabled through a long-term collaboration with Medz Cannabis and the processing space allows the company to process, package and distribute cannabis concentrates nationwide across both adult-use and medical channels with initial production including THC, CBD, CBN, isolates and cannabis-derived terpenes.
The company engaged KGK Science and Fryer as 2 outside regulatory consultants to support commercialization efforts for Artemic and other MyCell technology ingredients in the US and Mexico.
The company co-sponsored a clinical study in partnership with Swiss PharmaCan and MGC Pharmaceuticals to assess the impact of its proprietary natural health product Artemic Support.
The company made a strategic equity investment in Restart Life Sciences.
2023
The company developed 2 additional to THC and CBD water soluble cannabinoids; CBN and CBG.
The company developed a proprietary, water soluble technology which creates dry powder cannabinoids designed for improved absorption, great taste and a more consistent and predictable cannabis experience.
The company launched 2 cannabis brands in Canada called MOD, offering water soluble drops and .decimal, offering capsules.
The company officially entered the Canadian cannabis market with its first shipment of Mod THC drops to the Ontario Cannabis Store.
The company expanded to Saskatchewan with an exclusive wholesale distribution and supply agreement intitally lasting for 2 years with National Cannabis Distribution including the first shipment of MOD THC drops.
2024
The company launched 4 cannabis products in Ontario and doubled its SKU’s in the Ontario Cannabis Store.
The company’s MOD brand became the #3 brand in the oils category in Ontario as well as the #1 brand innovation in oils for 2024 to-date in October.
The company acquired Swiss Pharma.
2025
The company expanded to New Brunswick with its MOD THC drops.
The company tripled its capacity to produce its MOD product porfolio through the acquisition of an automated bottling line which also reduced labor costs.
The company expanded its retaild istribution to 1,000 licensed stores in Ontario while achieving #2 ranked oil brand with its flagship MOD line in May.
The company launched its flagship MOD brand at 100+ FIKA stores across Ontario.
The company expanded its MOD and .decimal brands in Saskatchewan.
The company secured retail listings with One Plant stores for its MOD brand into over 60 stores in Ontario and Saskatchewan.
