The company acquired Weeco Pharma, a German importer and wholesaler.
The company acquired a 50.2% stake of Greensby, a European platform designed to connect patients, pharmacies, telemedicine providers and consumers in the hemp and cannabis markets which will be integrated into Synbiotic’s platform. Through the investment, Grensby will expand its sales to include hemp products and cultivation accessories for recreational cannabis, with up to 4,000 SKU’s. Grensby allows its users to compare prices, access strain-specific data and view batch-dependent cannabinoid and terpene profiles.
The company entered into a strategic partnership with GOC Nexus Operations which they also made a strategic investment into at the same time. The collaboration is aimed for the implementation of a cold plasma technology for the microbiological decontamination of cannabis which reduces the microbial presence on cannabis and maintains the integrity of the product.
2025
The company launched Germany’s first medical cannabis pastilles containing THC. They were developed over 3 years through its collaboration with Bolder Arzneimittel GmbH & Co and partner pharmacies. The pastilles are tailored to each patient’s prescription and produced in pharmacies with pharmaceutical-grade ingredients. The distribution is handled by Synbiotic’s subsidiaries Weeco Pharma GmbH and MH medical hemp GmbH.

Hempamed is one of the biggest CBD brands in Germany with over 20 products available.
Hempamed RX has products out on the market with a vision to establish a full-range brand covering the medical market and the recreational market once it has opened up. The brand offers a wide range of products such as dronabinol, full spectrum extracts and different flower products.
CBPlus is more effective and works better on our endocannabinoid nerve system than regular CBD oil. CBPlus is novel food friendly and won the White Label World Expo Award 2021 for being the most innovative product. CBPlus also has the possibility of being mixed with other active ingredients such as melatonin and is available for white labelling.
