Blueberries Medical produces and markets cannabis-derived ingredients with high and low THC content in accordance with local regulations. A trip to Canada convinced one of the founders of the healing properties of the cannabis plant and the company transformed from growing blueberries to growing cannabis.

FACILITIES:

Colombia: The company has a 30,000 sq ft GMP-compliant facility. They produce extracts for the food industry, beauty and cosmetics as well as veterinary products. One farm is 442,000 sq ft and the other is 1,615,000 sq ft, these are outdoor cultivation sites not fully operational.

NEWS & PARTNERSHIPS:

2019

The company became a strategic supplier of medical cannabis products to Canurius UG for the sale and distribution of cannabis products in Germany. The company will supply Canurius with 100 KG of cannabis oil extract per month for an initial 12-month term. The agreement also includes the importation, sales and distribution of Blueberries CBD-based cannabis products for health and wellness purposes, including extracts, finished products, cosmetics, dietary supplements and other medicinal-grade cannabis products under German regulations by Canurius for its authorized market and territory.

The company signed a JV with the International Research Center on Cannabis and Mental Health for the development of medical education programs for physicians and patients in Latin America and product formulation.

The company partnered with the Van Uden International Center for Alternative Medicine and the Juan N. Corpas University Foundation for the facilitation of the distribution of Blueberries’ products to a patient network with over 12,000 patients as well as bridging the gap between research and clinical practice by educating physicians on the applications and benefits of medicinal cannabis treatments.

2020

The company announced a 50/50 JV with QualCann SAS for the production of extract oil to be commercialized in the US. QualCann will fund all the agronomical operational costs including dry flower laboratory tests and final transportation of the dried cannabis to Blueberries´ extraction center. Blueberries in turn will do the extraction to obtain the CBD oil extract as well as pay for extract laboratory tests and storage until picked up by QualCann.

The company acquired BBV Labs.

The Argentinian state-owned company Cannava and BBV Labs has a JV where Cannava contributes land to the JV as well as all required permits and authorization necessary to import seeds, cultivate, grow and harvest cannabis, process cannabis and extract cannabis oil and other derivative products for scientific, medicinal and therapeutic purposes and to export cannabis and derivative products and import and export related equipment and products.

2021

The company announced a deal where they would supply 200 KG bulk, premium, formulated cannabis oil to Futura Farms in Peru.

The company signed a framework agreement with YVY Life Sciences for Uruguay and the mutual development of strains and genetics in Colombia and possibly export as well.

2022

The company announced sales of over 60 KG of CBD and non-psychoactive derivatives to 6 customers in Argentina.

Allied and Blueberries Medical have a JV that will produce pscyhoactive and non-psychoactive derivates where Allied will produce quality flower that in turn, Blueberries will extract and produce products available for sale in other countries than just Colombia.
