2017

The company entered into a technical services agreement with Aurora Cannabis until the end of 2022, facilitating an exchange of information and support across areas including the cultivation and processing of medical cannabis, extraction and manufacturing technology and analysis of cannabis extracts.

The company has executed a licensing and distribution agreement with CannaKorp to be able to o import and sell CannaKorp’s proprietary vaporizing system in Australia and New Zealand and securing the right to produce the medicinal cannabis pods associated with the device.

2018

The company signed a 3-year agreement with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation for the extension of their R&D collaboration. This extension will see the company work with multiple CSIRO business units which will see technology development activities undertaken for use in the commercial manufacture and sale of medicinal cannabis products with all resulting IP owned by Cann.

The company entered into a manufacturing agreement with IDT Australia for their manufacturing support in relation to medicinal cannabis‐based product formulations intended for supply to patients in Australia and overseas.

The company announced the securing of a contract with the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services, through its Office of Medicinal Cannabis for the supply of resin.

2019

The company executed a national distribution agreement with Symbion that has access to over 4000 retail pharmacies and 1300 hospitals throughout Australia for the supply of carry Cann’s full range of imported products to Special Access Scheme patients.

The company acquired 20% of Zalm Therapeutics with an option to acquire 10% more upping its total to 30%, a New Zealand-based medicinal cannabis company and entered into a technical services agreement for the mutual sharing of IP between Cann Group and Pure Cann with a strong focus on organic production systems and to look into export opportunities in the future.

The company entered into a 5-year supply agreement with Aurora Cannabis for the offtake of GMP-processed dry flower, extracted resin and manufactured medicinal cannabis products produced by Cann.

2020

The company entered into a 5-year supply agreement, with an option to renew until the 29th of October 2027 with Pure Cann NZ where Cann Group will become the primary production and manufacturing partner for Pure Cann and Cann Group will exclusively suplly Pure Cann in New Zealand. The companies’ technical services agreement was also extended until the 29th of April 2026 with an option for renewal until the 29th of October 2027. If the MSA or TSA is lawfully terminated before the expiration of its initial term by Pure Cann due to a breach, Cann Group must sell all their shares in Pure Cann to them at a discount to their fair market value ranging from 10% to 80%, depending on if its terminated early or late.

The company entered into a multi-year agreement with options to extend with Astral Health for the supply of formulated oils and additional coming products and dried flower for sale in the UK and other European markets. Project Twenty21 is a patient registry providing access to medical cannabis which gathers data on treatment efficacy and Cann is the exclusive oil supplier to Astral Health.

The company entered into a 3-year supply agreement with an option to extend with iuvo Therapeutics for the supply of formulated oils and dried flower material for sale in Germany and other European markets.

The company received a $1.975 million AUD grant under the Victorian Government Regional Jobs Fund.

2021

The company made a strategic investment of 1 million CAD in iuvo Therapeutics for a 2% ownership granting the company exclusive external rights to supply iuvo with medicinal cannabis extracts until 31 December 2021, with those rights then converting to preferred non-exclusive status and iuvo placed an initial 19,000 unit order for Cann’s 30 ml extract to be sold in the European markets.

The company received 3.2 million AUD R&D tax refund.

The company acquired Satipharm.

The company partnered with Emyria for a Schedule 3 medicine CBD product registration in Australia through Emyria’s EMD-003 drug development program which will make use of Cann’s Gelpell microsphere technology.
