2016
The company entered an agreement with XIB Consulting for business management and corporate development initiatives including, but not limited to, capital allocation, strategic networking and market awareness.
The company launched the JV called Indigenous Roots in collaboration with Phil Fontaine enabling people of the First Nations to invest, operate and work in the industry. Cronos committed to providing land, the license, IP and engineering expertise towards the new facility plus training for the First Nations staff and in return will receive 50% of profits.
The company entered a 3-year exclusive supply agreement with Pedanios that will be covering the European Union and Switzerland with fresh and dried flower, cannabis extracts, and other cannabis formulated products. Pedanios has been given an exclusive license to market, sell, commercialize, and distribute the company’s products and Cronos is in turn chosen as Pedanios’ exclusive North American supplier. This agreement comes on the heels of an earlier co-branded supply agreement where Peace Naturals successfully supplied and shipped non-gamma irradiated cannabis flower to Pedanios for distribution to German pharmacies.
2017
The company started shipping Peace Naturals branded products to Germany through G. Pohl-Boskamp & Co. KG which has distribution to over 12,000 pharmacies in Germany.

2018
The company started a 50/50 JV with a group of investors led by Bert Mucci, principal of Mucci Farms called Cronos Growing Company.
The company entered into a 3-year, sponsored research agreement with the Technion Research and Development Foundation of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology ) to explore the use of cannabinoids and their role in regulating skin health and skin disorders.
The company announced a 5-year exclusive distribution agreement with Delfarma in Poland where Peace Naturals-branded products will be given to Delfarma for distribution in Poland.
The company partnered up with Aleafia Health for a joint medical cannabis study to improve the management and treatment of insomnia and daytime sleepiness.
The company signed a 5-year take-or-pay supply agreement with Curaleaf for them to buy a minimum of 20,000 KG per year from Cronos to supply the Canadian and international markets.
The company announced a cross border joint venture called MedMen Canada which will develop branded products and open stores across Canada, leveraging Cronos’ Canadian reach and expertize as well as MedMen’s class-defining retail expertise.
2019
The company entered into a multi-year supply agreement with MediPharm Labs where MediPharm will supply the company with product worth 30 million USD of high-quality private label cannabis concentrate over 18 months. They also entered into a multi-year tolling agreement, where Cronos Group will supply bulk cannabis to MediPharm Labs for the fulfillment of additional processing needs of the Company.
Altria acquired 45% of Cronos.
2021
The company launched a responsible marketing code saying their advertisements will be targeted towards adults and highlight responsible cannabis consumption as well as provide customers with facts and substantiate the claims made.
The company launched its first cultured cannabinoid product in Canada by the name of Chill Bliss, a THC/CBG gummy under the Spinach Feelz brand made through fermentation and proprietary methods for the production of CBG without the help of an actual plant.
The company acquired an option for around 10.5% of PharmaCann.
2022
Cronos started a collaboration with Cannasoul Analytics which is a cannabis research company dedicated to developing scientific intellectual property, medical products and technologies, to develop a commercial cannabis analytical testing laboratory onsite at Cronos Israel. This laboratory will conduct in-house commercial analytical testing for Cronos Israel as well as for third-party clients.
The company partnered with Geocann to use its VESIsorb delivery technology for faster absorption in its CBD gel capsules by Lord Jones.
2023
The company’s Spinach branded ended 2023 as the number one flower brand in Canada.
2024
The company entered into a distribution agreement supplying cannabis to Vitura Health in Australia.
Cronos and GrowCo entered into a 4-year supply agreement and prior to the first sale of products from the newly constructed area, Cronos will have the option to buy roughly 80% of GrowCo’s production. Cronos will maintain the option to purchase 70% of all GrowCo’s supplies on an annual basis once first sales from the newly constructed area occurs.
The company entered the UK market through its PEACE NATURALS brand selling flower to GROW Pharma.
The company terminated its sale-leaseback with Future Farmco Canada for the Peace Naturals Campus.

2025
The company entered the Swiss medical market through a sales partnership with local pharmaceutical operator Dascoli Pharma which will see strains GMO Cookies, Space Cake and Sonic Lemon Fuel from PEACE NATURALS being sold in the country.
The company entered into a loan agreement with High Tide giving them a principal amount of $30 million at a 4% interest per year and has the option of turning the loan into shares of High Tide at $4.20. The loan covers 5 years and is secured by a 3rd priority lien on certain High Tide assets.
Cronos Group announced plans to enter the Netherlands with a deal to acquire CanAdelaar, the largest operator in the country’s Wietexperiment adult-use pilot. The acquisition gives Cronos #1 market share in Europe’s largest operational adult-use market, access to a 540,000 sq ft greenhouse with a 20,000 KG annual capacity which is supplying all 72 coffee shops in the 10 pilot municipalities of the Netherlands.
