2018

The company signed a supply agreement with Aphria who will provide the company with packaged co-branded cannabis oil and dried flower products for the Australian medical cannabis market.

The company signed a distribution agreement with Health House International whom will buy e in bulk, warehouse and distribute five Althea branded medicinal cannabis products in their pharmacies and supporting healthcare professionals with Althea product information.

2019

The company extended its deal from 2018 with Aphria to last until 2027.

The company acquired Peak Processing Solutions.

The company entered into a supply agreement with NHMRC-funded Australian Centre for Cannabinoid Clinical and Research Excellence which is through the University of Newcastle where the company will be one of several suppliers and supply 2 cannabis medicines for the trial.

The company launched MyAccess Clinics which offers in-person and virtual consultations, with a flagship clinic in Belgravia, London.

2020

Peak Processing Solutions was selected as the exclusive manufacturer and distributor of 3 of Tinley’s cannabis-infused beverages for the Canadian market for 3 years until Tinley’s meets established minimum quantities with an initial order of 100,000 CAD.

The company entered into a 1-year supply and distribution agreement which can be renewed with Lyphe Group where the company’s products will be e distributed by Lyphe Group through The Medical Cannabis Clinics as well as Lyphe Group’s owned pharmacy, Dispensary Green in the UK and Jersey.

The company expanded into South Africa through a supply agreement with MG Biotech Ventures and AfriCann for a range of Althea-branded finished products for sale and distribution in South Africa.

Althea CBD12:THC10 was approved for 327,89 EURO reimbursement in Ireland for spasticity associated with MS resistant to all standard therapies and interventions and intractable nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy, despite the use of standard anti-emetic regimes.

Althea THC20:CBD1 was approved for sale and distribution in Ireland.

2021

Peak signed a $3.45 million USD exclusive 5-year supply and manufacturing agreement with The Boston Beer Company. The agreement will have Peak researching and develop various product formulations and recipes for the launch of new cannabis-infused beverages in Canada making it the exclusive manufacturer of all cannabis beverages produced or sold in Canada under BBC branding. The company also secured a right of first refusal to act as BBC’s exclusive provider to commercialize any of its intellectual property in connection with the development or manufacture of cannabis products outside of Canada, including but not limited to the USA.

The company signed a 2-year manufacturing agreement with 48North Cannabis for the supply of 4 SKU products in body lotion and bath salts for 48North Cannabis’ wellness brand with minimum order quantities valued at around 1,25 million CAD. The MOQs operate on a per product basis and is required to be purchased within 12 months from the first purchase order approved by Peak for each product.

The company signed a 1-year (with 2, 1-year renewal options) manufacturing agreement with Canopy Growth’s Supreme Cannabis with MOQ for the first year equalling 600,000 CAD. The company will be performing hydrocarbon extraction services to create various concentrate products for Supreme utilising their cannabis inputs.

2023

The company signed a contract manufacturing agreement with Tweed for the manufacture of cannabis-infused products for sale in the Canadian market.

2024

The company formed a JV with Flora Growth for the launch of hemp-derived seltzers and sodas in the US.

The company announced s a distribution agreement with Symbion involving Althea’s complete portfolio of medicinal cannabis products distributed through Symbion’s pharmaceutical wholesale channel with over 3,850 retail pharmacy customers and 1,350 hospital customers across Australia.

The company partnered with Rocket Factory with an exclusive supply agreement for the sale and distribution of craft flower products under a new Althea brand in Australia, the UK and Germany.

The company sold its UK and Ireland business MyAccess Clinics to Montu. Althea’s products will remain part of the clinic’s offerings for 3 years and Montu will purchase at least 10,300 units of the company’s products over 2 years.

Peak Processing started a partnership with Simply Solventless to produce and launch 2 cannabis-infused beverages under their Astrolab brand.

2025

The company entered into a strengthened multiyear manufacturing agreement with The Boston Beer Company which reinforces Peak as their exclusive Canadian manufacturing partner for cannabis beverages until the 31st of August in 2026 and includes successive automatic renewal terms of 3 years unless either party gives written notice 180 days before the end of the then-current term. This ensures consistent supply for BBC’s cannabis brands TeaPot and Emerald Hour Cannabis Cocktails. The new agreement includes Peak providing a minimum in excess of 800,000 units for 2025.

The company signed a binding term sheet to sell its pharmaceutical assets to Tasmanian Botanics for $1 million, plus a revenue-sharing arrangement on residual inventory sales.

Peak Canada reached a strategic milestone by launching its own premium THC beverage line called Snap Back in Ontario and Manitoba with submissions to British Colombia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.
