Stenocare was the first Danish company to receive approval from the Danish Medicines Agency to cultivate and produce medical cannabis as well as import and distribute medical cannabis oil products to be sold and is the sole provider of oil products in Denmark as well as Sweden.

2018

The company was given the award IPO of the year in the quality category from Svenska Dagbladet Börsplus IPO-guide in Sweden as well as the honorary prize in the value growth category thanks to its strong growth.

2019

Stenocare was the first company to introduce CBD capsules with small amounts of THC for Danish patients.

The company announced a strategic development partnership with Solural Pharma for the development, testing and commercialization of advanced cannabis-based medical products with the first joint project being a cannabis oil-based oral formulation developed and tested for identical efficacy pre- and post-food intake. The company provided its raw cannabis material and expertize relating to supply and distribution of medical cannabis-based products with Solural providing its expertize in product formulation, testing and clinical trials with their lymphatic-targeting technology which Stenocare has received the global exclusivity of for all cannabinoid-based products and Solural will in turn receive royalties on all sales.

2020

The company signed an agreement with Panaxia to source medical cannabis products for sale in Denmark and other markets.

The company and its deal with Emerald was authorized to offer medical cannabis oil in Sweden.

2021

The company signed an agreement to source medical cannabis products from AgMedica Bioscience.

2022

Stenocare has signed a distribution agreement with the leading distributor and pharmacy chain in Norway.

The company partnered with Cannvalate to sell their products through 3,000 doctors and 600 pharmacies across Australia.

The company was the first company to supply oil based medical cannabis products in Norway through their partner Apotek1. The company sells three oils with THC and/or CBD drops to Norway.

Stenocare entered the UK market with three medical cannabis oil products.

Stenocare started a partnership with Adrex Pharma in for the product approval of its extract for the German market.

2023

The company’s extract was approved for sales in Germany and Adrex Pharma will distribute the products which are eligible for reimbursement by insurance companies.

The company entered into a new partnership agreement with Quest Biotech Pharma in Australia to increase the capacity of prescribing doctors of Stenocare-branded products via multiple channels.

2024

The company’s Astrum 10-10 oil launched in Australia and Germany. The technology of the oil can double the uptake of cannabinoids, delivers a uniform uptake in the blood across individuals with the maximum concentration of the drug being reached in half the time and it can be delivered in the body with higher uniformity regardless of food consumption.

The company announced plans to shift its focus from vertical integration to a more trading-focused model specializing in prescription-based medical cannabis products and as such will stop production activites at its Danish cultivation facility and expand its global sales. The company therefore signed a conditional agreement with Hedemann Løvstad Ejendomsselskab to terminate the lease for its cultivation facility and transferring the ownership of its production equipment to HLE, relieving the company of around 18 million DKK in cost obligations over 6 years. The decision was made due to prolonged and uncertain approval timelines from the Danish Medicines Agency, making break-even at the facility not likely.

The company’s Astrum 10-10 was approved for sales and became available for patients in Norway.

2025

The company sold its cultivation facility as Stenocare 3.0 strategy starts which will see the company collaborating with trusted partners in Canada, Australia and Denmark to supply the raw cannabis for its oils.
